regarding this candle, i think matt kahn would say something along the lines of, "and some of you may not realize this, but this piece intimates an art movement called [pause] dada [overenunciated]."i've been looking at a lot of lighting and can't stop thinking about art 160 projects: illuminated objects, utilitarian lighting devices, pieces where change is a major interest, blahblahblah. i think i will forever more see the world in terms of potential art projects.

here's a lamp whose angle is adjusted with a magnet on the outside of the belljar... i like how pseudo-scientific it feels with the clinical distance between the lamp and the user.
