I first saw Thomas Allen's stuff in Zoetrope's fall 06 issue. can't say i've seen anything like it before, but it reminds me of an address book that i have. i think what tickles me the most is his using the spines and sides of the book--the pages edges are the best colors ever. One day, i'll get around to scanning in some good ones from the magazine...
